The lake is a 5 acre estate lake that is absolutely stunning even in its winter plumage. Stream fed at one end with a dam and drain at the other, perfect! We've been fishing it for the last 3 years. I've always been a big venue angler in France, big ressies, big rivers and the like and had never considered this kind of venue....5 acres...a mere puddle. I'm used to that for each rod! But make no mistake, it is a great change and a proper holiday, with emphasis on the word holiday, relax and enjoy.

I have been fishing for carp for over 20 years now and I enjoy the annual pilgrimage to France. Like most people I have fished numerous venues in France and have had a varying degree of success and frustration. However, in my opinion the perfect venue has now been found, Etang des Landes.
