The lake

The lake is both stream and spring fed with excellent water quality. Depths vary between 3 - 12 feet over a hard silt bottom.

In 2004 we added to the impressive existing stock with a large number of superb specimen mirror and common carp from the famous Maurepaire fishery here in France.

Since their introduction, these fish have shown considerable growth rates and we now have a huge number of carp in their mid thirties plus many more fish to mid forties, up to the current lake record at 50 plus, thus ensuring your chances of success here are excellent.
