If not that you leave a little heavier than your arrived \ud83d\ude09 . I can honestly recommend the the venue for a small group of people. Perfect for Wives \/ Girlfriends and children. With the exclusive use of the Gite at the side of the old Granary. We were made to feel like family, the food was brilliant quality and huge portions. We all came home a few pounds heavier. We could eat in our swims or all together at the picnic table looking over the lake and beautiful landscape. We had dialogue in advance of coming with Rob about the lake, giving tips and advice ensuring we came prepared. Rob was there to show us spots to fish, came out on the rowing boat finding features discussing tactics \/ baiting. Had responsible camp fires in the swims at night, and was lovely having a lake exclusive for the 4 of us. Personal bests were beaten and can’t wait to return to meet some of the other monsters we saw crashing out teasing us. The week went too fast. Was a real treat to have a hot shower in the morning and walk back to my swim taking in the beautiful grounds, frogs and lizards not to mention Duchess the resident dog. Recently got back from one of the most amazing weeks at Etang des Landes. The lake is just amazing such a stunning setting. I could not recommend enough. Rob and Rox are incredible hosts, so welcoming and easygoing. The food package they provided was delicious keeping us fuelled so we could just focus on catching the fish. Stunning lake, amazing venue, great set of fish to go at, the big commons are truly stunning, and Dave n Tina are the best hosts you could ask for. Second time there this year and will definitely be returning. Have just left here with my husband, and what a fantastic week at Etang des Landes!! Everything was spot on, the lake, the fish, the facilities & the hosts!! The owners Dave & Tina are such lovely people. Both are so welcoming & friendly, always around if you need them for anything but also leave you to it so you can enjoy your holiday. My husband was lucky enough to land 25 fish, biggest being a cracking 47lb common! We had such great fun & will be returning in the future!! My wife and I stayed here 18th – 25th September 2021, had a fantastic week, Rob was a great host and nothing was too much trouble. We stayed last week for a week at Etang des Landes. The lake is beautiful with some great fishing spots. All of our previous PBs were smashed out of the park. Rob and Rox are fantastic hosts, the lodge was lovely and clean. We go to etang des landes every year. Beautifull lake and setting with some cracking fish. Dave and Tina are brilliant hosts, really nice people , really laid back , a great laugh and they make you feel really welcome. I look forward to seeing them just as much as i do the fishing.
